Underwater tidal power - Disadvantages
• In development.
This type of energy generation is still relatively new
and in development, so we don't know what are the
possible side effects to the environment due to placement
of turbines underwater. It's hard to predict how this
will affect ocean/river currents.
• Barnacles.
This could be a major problem! Testing is underway.
