Despite the disadvantages, media mogul Ted Turner drives
a Toyota Prius. So do actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Alec
Baldwin (“Beyond Kyoto: How Your Life Will Change”).
These celebrities do act as role-model and an endorsement
for electric/ hybrid vehicles. Although, despite these
endorsements, a great extent of the population are still
not satisfied with the new developing technologies of the
electric and hybrid vehicles.
